Project Topic: A waste calcium carbonate up gradation using carbonation process in bubble column reactor

Project Details: The basic objective of the project is to studies the kinetics of absorption of lean CO2 in a suspension of lime in 8.0 cm. I.D. bubble column. The experimental study includes varied variable to be consider for carrying out carbonation process. The experimental conditions are done by employing height to diameter ratio equal to 6, superficial gas velocity equal to 10 cm/s. Under these experimental conditions, required particle size less than 10 mm of calcium carbonate is obtained.
