The Fluid Mechanics laboratory deals with practical knowledge
application of principles in the collection, storage, control, transport,
regulation, measurement and use of water by engaging with different flow
measuring set-ups such as venturimeter, orifice meter, rotameter etc., where
students can visualize the basic theory. The Fluid Mechanics Laboratory is
designed to examine the properties of fluids and to conduct experiments
involving both incompressible and compressible flow. This laboratory is also equipped
to conduct experiments on open channel flow.
