Academic Projects

PhD Thesis:

Co-pyrolysis of Printed circuit Boards and Cotton Stalk for Fuel oil Production

Guided By: Dr. Shina Gautam, Professor at SRICT, Ankleshwar, UPL University

In this research, cotton stalk (CS) as biomass is used in different composition with PCB, and its effects on chemical and physical characteristics of pyrolysis oils are evaluated, as well as possible reaction pathway of brominated epoxy resin of PCB and reduced toxicity in co-pyrolyzed products are explained.

M.E Thesis:

Silicone Braided Hose

Guided By: Prof. Rupande N. Desai HOD at L.D.C.E(Rubber Dept.)

In this project I have made food grade Silicone Braided Hose which has excellent performance characteristics at extreme high and low temperatures. The project explains the basic manufacturing process of silicone, Braiding technology, formulation to get better properties, test properties and cost estimation.

M.E.  Project:

Thermoplastic Elastomers

Thermoplastic elastomers are novel constructional polymers, which are physically cross linked materials made up of a thermoplastic and an elastomer. This paper reviews the history, physical, chemical, mechanical, electrical characteristics, advantages and uses of these materials.

Graduate Projects:

H-Acid

H-acid has long been manufactured and used as an intermediate for the production of dyes and pigments, and is the most important intermediates of naphthalene series. In this I have done Material and Energy Balance along with mechanical design, Cost estimation and pollution prevention.

Biomass Fuel Power Plant

Biomass is the most common form of renewable energy, by which we can achieve the changes required to address the impact of global warming.
